Swipe Technologies has launched yet another low-end budget smartphone in the Indian market known as Elite 3. It is an updated variant of the Elite 2 Plus, which was launched back in October last year. For starters, it is priced at Rs. 5,499 and comes in Champagne Gold and Space Grey colors. It will go on sale starting from tomorrow (February 21, 2023) exclusively via Flipkart. Now, check out the specifications and features of the budget phone.
The Swipe Elite 3 is a Dual SIM phone with a 5-inch IPS display, that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD). The 4G VoLTE enabled phone is being powered by a Spreadtrum SC9832 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, which is an upgraded version of the Spreadtrum SC9830 found on the Elite 2 Plus. For graphics and multitasking, we get Mali-400 GPU and 2GB RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage but you can choose to expand it further up to 32GB externally by adding a microSD card.
The Elite 3 runs on Indus OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, which is also an upgrade over the Lollipop OS on the Elite 2 Plus. This OS has support for 12 regional languages. It has a 8 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel secondary front-facing camera for clicking selfies. There is a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM Radio for audio enthusiasts. The body is made up of plastic and it is 9.1mm thick.
In terms of powering the device, we get a 2500mAh battery under its hood, which should be enough to last for one day at least with moderate usage. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3G HSPA+ and 4G VoLTE. Due to out of the box VoLTE support, you can use the Reliance Jio network for free till March 31, 2017.
