Intex launches Aqua Lions 4G with VoLTE support in India for Rs 5499

Intex Aqua Lions 4G, a budget VoLTE enabled smartphone has been launched in India. It is the latest low-end budget phone in the ‘Aqua series’, which is priced at Rs. 5,499 and it comes in Champagne and Grey colors. The Aqua Lions 4G features a MiFon Security App that has integrated smart tracking facility to conduct live tracking of the lost device using IMEI number. It also has another interesting feature. If someone switches ON the stolen phone and starts using it, the device will auto-click the user and send his/her image to the registered email address of the smartphone owner but this is only possible if the Internet is turned on.

Now talking about the hardware part, the Intex Aqua Lions 4G boasts of a 5.0-inch FWVGA display with a pixel density of 854 x 480 pixels. It is being powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor and 1GB RAM. For storage, we get 8GB internal memory but you can expand it externally up to 64GB by adding a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The Aqua Lions 4G is a Dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. Other connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. Under the hood, we find a 2000mAh battery to power the phone. In the camera department, there is a 5 megapixel primary camera at the back with LED flash along with a 2 megapixel selfie camera at the front. The phone comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. The measurements are 72 x 143.8 x 9.8mm and it weighs 146.7 grams.

The Intex Aqua Lions 4G also features Tap and Buy app, which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) for making the online shopping experience better for users. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,499 and if available online, it might get featured in our best smartphones under 6000 category.
