Swipe Technologies had launched the ELITE Power, a budget 4G VoLTE enabled smartphone in India last month. It comes in two color variants - Champagne Gold and Space Grey but since launch only the later was available for purchase. Starting today, the Champagne Gold variant has gone on sale, exclusively via Flipkart for Rs. 6,999. The main USP of this phone is its 4000mAh battery that promises up to 10 days of standby time.
The Swipe ELITE Power features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is being powered by a Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz along with Adreno 304 GPU. For multitasking and storage, there is 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, but you can also extend the memory externally up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card, in case you run out of storage. Out of the box, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The ELITE Power boasts of a 4000mAh battery under its hood, however, it does not come with fast charging support. Swipe Technologies promises a standby time of up to 240 hours, web browsing of up to 13 hours on WiFi and talk time of up to 15 hours on 3G. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G HSPA+, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.
In the camera department, we find a 8 megapixel primary rear camera along with a 5 megapixel secondary selfie shooter. It supports Dual SIM and also packs in a fingerprint sensor located at the back, which can unlock the phone quickly. The mobile is made up of metal and is 8.8mm thick. The smartphone has been featured in our best smartphones under 7000 and best smartphones under 8000 lists so far.
