ASUS has launched the latest ZenFone Go 5.0 LTE (ZB500KL) in India, priced at Rs. 8,999. It is now being sold via both online retailers such as Amazon.in and offline retailers across the country. The mobile is available in Gold, Black, Red, White and Silver with Blue colors. It is an upgraded variant of the previous ZenFone Go 5.0 LTE with minimal changes. Lets take a look at them below.
The ASUS ZenFone Go 5.0 LTE ZB500KL features a 5-inch HD IPS display, which has a pixel density of 294 PPI and a screen-to-body ratio of 67.6%. It runs on Zen UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and supports 4G VoLTE out of the box. The ZenFone Go boasts of a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture at the back along with a 5 megapixel secondary selfie shooter at the front.
It is being powered by a Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) 64-bit processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with Adreno 306 GPU. For multitasking and storage, there is 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage but you can choose to expand it externally (up to 32GB) by adding a microSD card. The ZenFone Go from the house of ASUS supports Dual SIM, is 11.25mm thick and weighs 150 grams. It is quite thick compared to the sleek metal body smartphones under 9000 in India. You can also listen to FM Radio by plugging an earphone via the 3.5mm audio jack.
The ASUS ZenFone Go 5.0 LTE supports 4G VoLTE and that is a welcome change since most ASUS phones till now did not support VoLTE out of the box. Other options in the connectivity department includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS and 3G HSPA+.
