ZOPO launches Flash X Plus phablet in India for Rs. 13999

ZOPO Flash X Plus smartphone has been launched in India today. It is the latest phablet in the ‘Flash series’ from the house of ZOPO. It is priced at Rs. 13,999 and will go on sale sometime in March via e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Shopclues, Flipkart and Snapdeal. The company will also provide a 365 days replacement warranty, which is a very good initiative.

The ZOPO Flash X Plus comes in four different colors such as Charcoal Black, Space Grey, Orchid Rose and Royale Gold. Coming to the hardware part, it boasts of a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 401 PPI. It is being powered by a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali-T720 GPU. For multitasking, we get 3GB of DDR3 RAM and also have 32GB of onboard storage. It can be expanded further up to 128GB externally.

The Flash X Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It is a Dual SIM phone with 4G LTE support. Other connectivity features include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G HSPA+. There is a 3100mAh battery (non-removable) under its hood for powering the device. There is a fingerprint sensor stacked inside the home button, which can unlock the phone in just 0.16 seconds and thus is the world’s fastest fingerprint scanner, according to ZOPO.

The metal phone packs in a 13 megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED flash at the back and there is a 8 megapixel selfie camera on the front with moonlight screen flash. It also has a FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack.

The ZOPO Flash X Plus looks an average phone on paper but the processor is very old, so it won’t get featured in our best smartphones under 14000 list.
