Samsung India had launched the Galaxy A9 Pro back in September last year for a price of Rs. 32,490. Now, the company has announced a price cut of Rs. 2,590 on the smartphone. It is now available via Flipkart for Rs. 29,900. Samsung is also throwing in some attractive exchange and EMI offers. The A9 Pro is available in White, Black and Gold color variants.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro features a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display (2.7mm narrow bezel), which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, has a pixel density of 367 PPI and a screen-to-body-ratio of 75.9%. The phablet is being powered by a Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz along with Adreno 510 GPU. There is 4GB of RAM and 32GB on internal memory and the user can expand it externally up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
The Galaxy A9 Pro rocks a 16 megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) at the back. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel selfie shooter with f/1.9 aperture. It is able to capture good quality images in low lighting. Both the cameras can record Full HD 1080p videos. The A9 Pro packs in a 5000mAh battery under its hood with support for fast charging. In 30 minutes it will charge the battery up to 32% and a full charge from 0-100% takes about 160 minutes. Also, it promises up to 32.5 hours of talk time and up to 22.5 days of standby time, which is very impressive.
The A9 Pro supports Dual SIM (nano), boasts of a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button and packs in a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone weighs 210 grams and is 7.9mm thick. Coming to the connectivity part, it includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), ANT+, GPS and NFC.
