After launching YUREKA BLACK last month, YU is back with another interesting low-end budget smartphone. The sister concern of Micromax has launched the YUNIQUE 2 smartphone in the country today. It is a successor of the YUNIQUE PLUS phone launched last year and will be available exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 5,999. Take a quick look at its specifications below, which is quite similar to the newly launched Micromax Canvas 1.
The YU YUNIQUE 2 features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and pixel density of 294 PPI. It is being powered by a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali-T720 GPU. For multitasking and storage, we get 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can also be extended up to 64GB by adding a microSD card.
The YUNIQUE 2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It is a Dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. Other connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. The phone is 9.15mm thick, weighs 159 grams, comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
In the camera department, there is a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash at the back. On the front, we get a 5 megapixel selfie camera. Under the hood, there is a 2500mAh battery but it does not support fast charging.
The YU YUNIQUE 2 is priced at Rs. 5,999 and will be exclusively sold on Flipkart from July 27 (12PM) in Champagne Gold and Coal Black colors.
