XOLO has launched a new low-end budget smartphone in India today that has the potential to be one of the best smartphones under 5000. It is known as the XOLO Era 2 that has support for the Reliance Jio network (4G VoLTE) out of the box. Lets check out the features, specifications and pricing of the smartphone below.
The XOLO Era 2 features a 5-inch HD display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB RAM, that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. These are standard features in smartphones under 5000 Rs in India but it also packs in some new and innovative features such as Smart Awake, Smart Screenshot, Assistant Cast screen, LED flash for call, Flip to mute for alarms and calls and Audio Note. Also, it supports Dual SIM with 4G VoLTE connectivity. Hence, you can use Reliance Jio SIM card without any issues. In the connectivity department, it includes 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS. Under the hood, it has a 2350mAh battery, that might give you one day of battery life with low to moderate usage.
In the camera department, we are getting a 5 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.4 µm pixel size and 4P Largan lens, along with another 5 megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls. You can take good low light selfies as well since it comes with a LED flash. The phone has a Quick Camera feature that allows the users to access the camera by double-tapping on the Home button while accessing other apps. The device also supports Smart Camera which has features like Live Photos, Beauty Mode, Burst Mode, Time-Lapse and Slow-Motion.
