Karbonn Aura Note 2 running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS launched in India for Rs. 6490

After launching Aura 4G and Aura Power 4G Plus last month, Karbonn has launched the Aura Note 2. The budget phablet runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS and supports 4G VoLTE. Take a closer look at the specifications and features of the mobile below.

The Karbonn Aura Note 2 features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), that is being powered by a quad-core processor (most probably MediaTek) clocked at 1.25GHz. For multitasking and storage, we get 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can also be extended up to 32GB by adding a microSD card. The Aura Note 2 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It is a Dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. Other connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG and GPS.

In the camera department, we get a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash at the back along with another 5 megapixel front-facing selfie camera at the front. Under the hood, there is a 2900mAh battery and it comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio as well.

The Aura Note 2 comes with a Fashion app, that will allow the users to search for an outfit by simply clicking its picture. It also has video search feature and the AI engine of the app automatically recognizes the print, pattern and colour of the outfit to give relevant results/choices aggregated, lets you compare prices across various e-commerce portals.

The Karbonn Aura Note 2 is priced at Rs. 6,490 and is available in Coffee-Champagne, Black-Champagne and Champagne colors. If the smartphone goes on sale in any e-commerce portal like Amazon India or Flipkart, we will include it in our best smartphones under 7000 and other relevant segments.
