Intex Aqua S3 with fast charging support launched for Rs. 5777

Intex has launched yet another low-end budget smartphone in the Indian smartphone market today, after launching the Intex ELYT e7 last week. The Intex Aqua S3 is a very affordable smartphone but supports fast charging out of the box, which is not seen in smartphones even in higher price brackets. Check out the other specifications and features of the phone below.

The Intex Aqua S3 features a 5.0-inch IPS display, which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD). The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is being powered by a 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC9832A quad-core processor along with Mali GPU. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage but the user can expand it further up to 64GB by adding a microSD card. It comes with QR Code scanner, miFon security, a 9-in-1 security suite along with lost phone tracker, Gaana and Vistoso.

In the connectivity department, the Aqua S3 includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. It supports Dual SIM (nano), which weighs 164 grams and is 9.8mm thick. The Intex Aqua S3 boasts of a 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture at the back. The rear camera can shoot HD videos. There is a 5 megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash for clicking selfies and making video calls. We also get a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM Radio.

The Aqua S3 packs in a 2450mAh battery (non-removable) under its hood, which supports fast charging and comes with a 2A charger (reduces charging time by up to 35%).

The Intex Aqua S3 is priced at Rs. 5,777 in India and is available in Champagne color. If the phone is available on leading e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart or Amazon, we will include it in our best smartphones under 6000 and other applicable categories.
