Earlier we had reported that Lenovo / Motorola is gearing up to launch the Moto E3 in India on September 19, however it is now confirmed that the company will be bringing the Moto E3 Power on September 19 and it will be exclusively sold on Flipkart. Lets find out the features, specifications and estimated price of this budget smartphone below.
Moto E3 Power Specifications and Features
The Moto E3 Power comes with a 5.0-inch IPS display that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 294 PPI. In the processing and RAM department, we have a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P chipset clocked at 1.0 GHz along with Mali-T720 GPU. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard internal storage, which can also be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card. The E3 Power runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and will surely get updated to Android 7.0 Nougat in the near future, since most Motorola smartphones get updated after new major OS releases.
In terms of battery, it packs in a 3500mAh battery under the hood that also supports fast charging. It should be easily able to last more than a day with moderate usage. Then coming to the camera section, there is a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing selfie camera.
The Moto E3 Power supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM Radio with RDS. In terms of connectivity, we get 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS with GLONASS. It is not confirmed yet if the phone will support Voice over LTE (VoLTE) or not but considering the Reliance Jio craze, it will surely support 4G VoLTE.
The Moto E3 Power from the house of Lenovo / Motorola will come in White and Black colors in India. It is expected to be priced under Rs 7,000 and will be sold exclusively via Flipkart in the country. Will Motorola be able to regain the crown of producing the best budget smartphone in India, which they had claimed with the launch of the first generation Moto E launched back in 2014?
