Vivo V7+ with 24MP selfie camera launched in India for Rs. 21990

Vivo has launched a new selfie-focused smartphone in India named the V7+. It is a mid-ranged smartphone whose another USP is its 5.99-inch bezel-less display. The V7+ also becomes the first phone to be powered by the new Snapdragon 450 processor.

The Vivo V7+ features a 5.99-inch 2.5D curved glass FullView IPS display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels (HD+), pixel density of 269 PPI and aspect ratio of 18:9. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.4%. It is being powered by a Snapdragon 450 octa-core 14nm processor clocked at 1.8GHz along with Adreno 506 GPU. For multitasking and storage, we get 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can also be extended up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.

In the camera department, the V7+ boasts of a 16 megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and OmniVision OV16880 sensor at the back. On the front, we get a 24 megapixel front-facing selfie camera with moonlight LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. It has features such as Portrait mode and Face Beauty 7.0. Under the hood, there is a 3225mAh battery (non-removable). There is a fingerprint sensor located at the back, which can unlock the phone very quickly.

The Vivo V7+ runs on Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1.2 NougatĀ OS out of the box. We get new features such as Smart Split 3.0, App Clone and more. It is a Dual SIM (nano) phone and also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. It has 4G VoLTE support along with 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), GPS and GLONASS. The phone is 7.7mm thick, weighs 160 grams and is made up of metal.

The Vivo V7+ is priced at Rs. 21,990 and will go on sale from September 15 via Amazon India, Flipkart and offline retail stores across the country in Matte Black and Champagne Gold colors. It can be pre-ordered till September 14 starting today. The company is also providing a free screen replacement, 5% cashback for HDFC cards, No cost EMI and other offers.
