nubia M2 Play with SD435 SoC, 3GB RAM launched in India for Rs. 8999

nubia India has launched the latest budget smartphone in its ‘M series’ named the M2 Play. The phone runs on nubia UI based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and should get updated to Android 8.0 Oreo OS. Take a look at the features, specifications and pricing of the phone below.

The nubia M2 Play features a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display, that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and pixel density of 267 PPI. Out of the box, the phone runs on nubia UI 5.0 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and is being powered by a Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz along with Adreno 505 GPU. We get 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage but the user can expand it further up to 128GB by adding a microSD card.

The M2 Play rocks a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash, Sony CMOS sensor, f/2.2 aperture, Hybrid focus (PDAF + CAF) at the back. We get a 5 megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens on the front. It is 7.9mm thick and comes with an all metal body. There is a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button.

In the connectivity department, the M2 Play includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band) and GPS/GLONASS. It supports Dual SIM and comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. It packs in a 3000mAh battery (non-removable) under its hood but sadly it does not support fast charging.

The nubia M2 Play is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will go on sale exclusively on Amazon India from September 8, 2023 in Black color.
