Samsung Galaxy J7 Max with 4GB RAM running on Nougat launched in India for Rs. 17900

Samsung India has launched a new mid-ranged smartphone in the Indian market, named Samsung Galaxy J7 Max. It sports a unibody metal design, that also supports Samsung Pay Mini for UPI and Mobile Wallet Payments in India. Like other ‘J series’ phones, it also supports UDS mode, S bike mode and S power planning features.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max boasts of a 5.7-inch 2.5D curved glass TFT display, which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and pixel density of 386 PPI. The phone is being powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 (MT6757V) octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz along with Mali-T880 GPU. For multitasking and storage, we get 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The user can expand the storage externally up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The Galaxy J7 Max is a Dual SIM (nano) phone and we get a dedicated microSD card slot as well. We get a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.

In the camera department, we have a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash (Smart Glow 2.0) and f/1.7 aperture at the back. It can shoot Full HD videos. On the front, there is another 13 megapixel selfie shooter with f/1.9 aperture. We get a new Social Camera for instant sharing to social apps, editing by adding filters and stickers, Discover photography spots, restaurants and shopping areas. The J7 Max features a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button and it can unlock the phone very quickly. The phone runs on Samsung’s TouchWiz UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

The Galaxy J7 Max rocks all the modern connectivity features such as 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, 3G HSPA+ and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. Under the hood of this phone, there is a 3300mAh battery but unfortunately it does not support fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is priced at Rs. 17,900 in India and will go on sale from June 20 in Gold and Black colors. We will include it in our best smartphones under 20000 and other categories soon.
