Samsung India launches Galaxy J7 Pro running on Android 7.0 Nougat for Rs. 20900

After launching the Galaxy J7 Max, Samsung India has also launched the Galaxy J7 Pro in the country. It also supports Samsung Pay Mini for UPI and Mobile Wallet Payments in India. Take a look at its specifications, pricing and features below.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro features a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass Super AMOLED display, which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and pixel density of 401 PPI. The phone runs on TouchWiz UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is being powered by a 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor along with Mali-T830 GPU. There is 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage but the user can expand it further up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.

In the connectivity department, the Galaxy J7 Pro includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. It supports Dual SIM (nano) and is 7.9mm thick. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro boasts of a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture at the back. There is another 13 megapixel selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture for clicking selfies and making video calls. Both of them can shoot Full HD videos. We also get a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM Radio and a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button.

The Galaxy J7 Pro packs in a 3600mAh battery (non-removable) under its hood but it does not have support for fast charging. We get a new Social Camera for instant sharing to social apps, editing by adding filters and stickers, Discover photography spots, restaurants and shopping areas. The usual UDS mode, S bike mode and S power planning features are also present.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro is priced at Rs. 20,900 in India and will go on sale from mid-July 2017 in Gold and Black colors. We will include it in our best smartphones under 25000 and other segments soon.
