Videocon Cube 3 comes with a Panic Button, priced at Rs 8490 in India

Videocon Cube 3, the latest mid-range budget smartphone from the house of Videocon Mobiles was unveiled at an event in India today. It comes with a Panic button, packs in 3G RAM, supports 4G VoLTE and more. Lets find out the features, specifications and price of the smartphone below.

Videocon Cube 3 Specifications and Features

The Videocon Cube 3 rocks a 5.0-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved Dragontrail glass protection that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD). In terms of computing power, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 quad-core 64-bit chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz along with Mali-T720 GPU. There is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard internal storage, that can be further expanded via microSD card. The Cube 3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

The smartphone comes pre-loaded with a SOS - Be Safe emergency response app, which has Alert, Walk with ME and reach on time features. Videocon has stated that their entire smartphone segment will feature a “Panic Button”, since Government of India has recently mandated all mobiles sold in India to pack in a panic button from January 1, 2017.

In the camera department, we get a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash and Auto Focus. There is also a 5 megapixel front-facing selfie camera. It supports Dual SIM, FM Radio and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Under the hood, there is a 3000mAh battery but it does not support fast charging. The Cube 3 includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The Videocon Cube 3 comes in Black color and is priced at Rs. 8,490 in India. It will be going on sale across the country very soon via offline retail stores. If sold online, it will surely make its way into our Best Smartphones under 10000 category.
