LeEco has officially launched the successor of the Le 2 Pro at an event in China today. It is an absolute beast and its known as the Le Pro 3. It is also an upgraded variant of the Le 2 which is one of the best smartphones under 15000 in India. Coming to the new Le Pro 3, it packs in raw hardware under the hood, starting with the latest Snapdragon 821 SoC, up to 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM, 16 megapixel rear camera, 4070mAh battery and more.
Just like the Le 2 or Le 2 Pro, the Le Pro 3 also does not come with a 3.5 mm audio jack. LeEco has adopted a new technology called Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) audio standard for lossless audio via USB Type-C port. In the display department, there is a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display that has 500 nits of brightness and 80% NTSC color gamut. It also comes with a 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM variant. There is fingerprint sensor at the back, infrared sensor, Dual SIM and 4G VoLTE support. NFC is an addition here since it wasn’t present in the previous models. The phablet runs on EUI 5.8 that is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Lets check out its key specifications below.

The LeEco Le Pro 3 is available in 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant and it costs 1799 Yuan ($270 / Rs. 18,075 approx.). The 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM model costs 1999 Yuan ($300 / Rs. 20,085 approx.). It will go on sale in China starting from September 28 but pre-order has started today. LeEco has not revealed its plan of launching the device globally yet but it will be heading to India by the end of this year.
