Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge were launched in India back in March 2016. They were officially priced at Rs 48,900 and Rs 56,900, respectively. Recently, after a price cut they are now available for Rs 43,400 and Rs 50,900 in India. Hence, the Galaxy S7 has received a price cut of Rs 5,500 and the Galaxy S7 edge has received a cut of Rs 6,000.
It is a very good move from Samsung India since the Galaxy Note7 was recently launched in the country for Rs 59,900. It was supposed to go on sale by now but it has been delayed due to ‘battery issues’ and then company has recalled most of the units globally. Coming to the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, they still remain the best in the business, probably the best Android flagships in the market right now. Thus, a price cut before the sale of Note7 coupled with the upcoming festive season, it is expected to sell like hot cakes.
