Reliance Retail launches LYF F8 with 4G VoLTE in India for Rs 4199

Couple of days back, Reliance Retail had announced a new low-end budget smartphone named LYF F8. It comes with similar specifications as the LYF Flame 8 (featured in our best smartphones under 5000 category), but the F8 runs on Android Marshmallow OS out of the box whereas the Flame 8 runs on Lollipop OS. The LYF F8 low-end budget smartphone boasts of a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display, that is protected by AGC Glass and has a pixel density of 218 PPI. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM (further expandable up to 128GB). It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with gesture support such as double tap to wake, slide down to open camera and more. In the camera section, there is a 8 megapixel primary camera at the back along with a 5 megapixel secondary selfie camera at the front. It is a Dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. There is a 2000mAh battery to power the phone and it promises up to 160 hours of standby time and up to 8 hours of talk time. Check out its other specifications below.

The Reliance LYF F8 smartphone comes in Blue and Black colors. It has been priced at Rs. 4,199 in India and is now available for purchase via retail stores across the nation. Earlier, the company had announced the LYF Water 11, which was the first LYF smartphone from the house of Reliance Retail to run on Android Marshmallow OS.
