Coolpad and LeEco together launches Cool Changer 1C in China

Coolpad in collaboration with LeEco had started a separate brand called ‘Cool’ back in August this year and had launched the Cool 1. Now, they have come together again and has announced the Cool Changer 1C in China yesterday. The phablet has similar specifications compared to the Cool 1 but does not have the dual camera setup at the back. Lets find out its features, specifications and pricing below.

The Cool Changer 1C features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 652 octa-core chipset, Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. It runs on EUI 5.8 UI (made by LeEco) based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and hopefully will get updated to Android 7.1 Nougat OS soon. It is a Dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. In the camera department, we get a 13 megapixel primary camera at the back along with a 8 megapixel secondary selfie camera at the front. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back, which can unlock the phone in just 0.15 seconds. Under the hood, it boasts of a 4060mAh battery with support for fast charging. The Cool Changer 1C comes in Silver color only and is priced at 899 Yuan ($131 / Rs. 8,910 approx.) in China. It goes on sale in the country starting from December 6 via LeMall, Coolpad.com and Jd.com. The brand has not announced if the smartphone will make it outside of China anytime soon. If it gets launched in India and is priced under Rs. 10,000, we will surely feature the device in our best smartphones under 10000 category.
