OnePlus 3T with SD821, 6GB RAM, 3400mAh battery, 4G VoLTE goes official

Couple of days back, OnePlus has officially announced the successor of its ‘2016 flagship killer’, known as the OnePlus 3T. It has very minimal specs upgrade compared to the OnePlus 3 but comes with the most refined version of OxygenOS yet. The OnePlus custom ROM is still based on Android Marshmallow OS but the Android Nougat update is coming to both the OnePlus 3T and 3 by the end of 2016.

In terms of upgraded specs, the OnePlus 3T gets a 3400mAh battery now in the same body (exact dimension and weight) instead of a 3000mAh battery on the OnePlus 3. There is a faster processor in the form of Snapdragon 821. The selfie camera has been bumped up to 16 megapixel from 8 megapixel in the OnePlus 3. It also has a 128GB storage variant now. There is a new gunmetal color as well instead of a Graphite option.

The OnePlus 3T comes in Soft Gold and Gunmetal color variants but the former is available only for the 64GB variant. It is priced at $439 (Rs. 29,922 approx.) / EUR 439 / GBP 399 for the 64GB ROM model whereas the 128GB storage variant costs $479 (Rs 32,646 approx.). It is going on sale via the official website from November 22 in the U.S. and November 28 in Europe. OnePlus has not revealed any information about its India launch date yet but there is a buzz in the media that it will come here by the end of this year (December).

After it gets launched in India, it will surely feature in our best smartphones under 30000 and best smartphones under 40000 lists.
