At the beginning of April 2017, Micromax launched the Evok Power along with the Evok Note in the Indian market. The Micromax Evok Power is a smartphone under 7000 which boasts of a good fingerprint sensor and great battery capacity. Lets take a closer look at the features, specifications and pricing of the Evok Power now.
The Micromax Evok Power features a 5.0-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display, which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and pixel density of 294 PPI. The phone is being powered by a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali-T720 GPU. For multitasking and storage, we get 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The user can expand the storage externally up to 64GB by adding a microSD card. The Evok Power is a Dual SIM (nano) phone but it rocks a hybrid slot.
In the camera department, we find a 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash at the back. It can also shoot Full HD videos. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel selfie shooter. The company has added Beauty Plus feature for the selfie camera, which will Whiten teeth, remove blemishes, slim your face, allow usage of filters and more. The phone has a metal back and comes with a fingerprint sensor, which is located at the back and can unlock the phone in just 0.15 seconds. It supports FM Radio and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack. The Evok Power runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The Micromax Evok Power boasts of 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3G HSPA+ and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n in the connectivity department. Under the hood of this phone, we get a 4000mAh battery but it does not support fast charging.
The Micromax Evok Power has been priced at Rs. 6,999 and is now being exclusively sold on Flipkart in India. It will soon get featured in our best smartphones under 7000 and other appropriate sections.
