Gionee A1 Lite, one of the selfie smartphones from the house of Gionee, has been announced in India. It belongs to the ‘A series’, which also has the Gionee A1 and A1 Plus smartphones. Take a closer look at the specifications, features and pricing of the A1 Lite below.
The Gionee A1 Lite features a 5.3-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display, that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and pixel density of 277 PPI. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Out of the box, the phone runs on Amigo OS 4.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is being powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. We get 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage but the user can expand it further up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.
The Gionee A1 Lite rocks a 13 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash along with a 20 megapixel selfie camera with soft LED selfie flash. Both of them can shoot Full HD videos as well. There is a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM Radio. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor located at the back, which can unlock the phone very quickly.
In the connectivity department, the A1 Lite includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. It supports Dual SIM (nano) but comes with a hybrid slot. It packs in a huge 4000mAh battery (non-removable) under its hood but sadly does not support fast charging.
The Gionee A1 Lite is priced at Rs. 14,999 and is now available in India in Black color. Hopefully, it will be available on Flipkart and Amazon India soon.
