After launching the F3 Plus back in March, OPPO India has now launched the OPPO F3. The smaller variant also boasts of dual selfie cameras like its elder brother. The smartphone company has also revealed the new Team India jersey as they are the new sponsors of the Indian Cricket Team.
The OPPO F3 features a 5.5-inch IPS 2.5D curved glass display, which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), pixel density of 401 PPI and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phablet is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T 64-bit processor with Mali-T860 GPU and 4GB RAM. There is 64GB of internal memory but the user can choose to expand it further up to 256GB by inserting a microSD card. Out of the box, the OPPO F3 runs on ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
Coming to the dual selfie cameras, the OPPO F3 rocks a 16 megapixel primary selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 76.4-degree wide-angle lens for clicking selfies with great detail and depth of field (bokeh) effect. There is another 8 megapixel secondary selfie shooter with 120-degree lens for clicking group selfies. The company has included a 13 megapixel rear shooter with f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. The primary camera can shoot 1080p videos.
The OPPO F3 is a Dual SIM (nano) phone and also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. It supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual Band), 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, USB OTG and GPS. There is a fingerprint sensor located on the home button made up of hydrophobic zirconium coating. It can unlock the phone in just 0.22 seconds and will also work when you have moist or wet fingers. The F3 with a unibody metal design weighs 153 grams and is 7.3mm thick. Under the hood, we get a 3200mAh battery but it does not support VOOC Charge (fast charging) technology.
The OPPO F3 is priced at Rs. 19,990 in India and will go on sale from May 13 via both offline retail stores and Flipkart (online exclusive) in Gold and Rose Gold colors. However, the phone can be pre-ordered till May 12, 2017.
