Intex Aqua S2 is the cheapest smartphone in India with a fingerprint sensor

Intex Technologies has launched the cheapest smartphone in India that comes with a fingerprint sensor. It is known as the Intex Aqua S2 and it costs Rs. 4,490. However, it comes with a major flaw as it does not support 4G LTE. After the arrival of Reliance Jio network, 4G with VoLTE enabled smartphones are heavily in demand and thus Intex has missed a great opportunity here. Lets go through its features and specifications below.

If you’re concerned about the hardware of the smartphone, it packs in a 5.0-inch FWVGA display, 1.2 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM (expandable up to 32GB). It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. In the camera department, there is a 5 megapixel on both sides (rear and front). Both of them shoot videos at 30fps. Under the hood, there is a 2450mAh battery which gives up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 110 hours of standby time. In terms of connectivity, it has 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It supports Dual SIM (micro + nano), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. There is a fingerprint sensor located at the back.
