Coolpad Note 5 Lite C running on Android 7.1 Nougat OS launched in India

Couple of weeks back, Coolpad India had launched the Note 5 Lite C in the offline market. Earlier, Coolpad used to sell exclusively on online e-commerce platforms but now this smartphone is available across 3000 multi-brand stores in eight states - Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. The company has also revealed that they would be launching a major flagship phone on August 20 exclusively on an online portal. Take a closer look at the features and specifications of the Note 5 Lite C below.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C features a 5-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display, that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and pixel density of 294 PPI. Out of the box, the phone runs on Cool UI 8.0 based on Android 7.1 Nougat OS and is being powered by a 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor along with Adreno 304 GPU. We get 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage but the user can expand it further up to 128GB by adding a microSD card.

The Note 5 Lite C rocks a 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and f/2.4 aperture at the back. We get a 5 megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture as well. There is a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM Radio. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor located at the back, which can unlock the phone very quickly. The phone has a metal unibody design, that is 7.95mm thick and weighs 139 grams.

In the connectivity department, the Note 5 Lite C includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. It supports Dual SIM (micro + nano) but comes with a hybrid slot. It packs in a 2500mAh battery (non-removable) under its hood but sadly it does not support fast charging.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C is priced at Rs. 7,777 in India and is available in Grey and Gold colors. The price is definitely on the higher side because it will only be available in the offline market. You can find better smartphones here in this price range.
