Vivo Y53 to be launched in India for a price of Rs. 9990 very soon

According to Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom, Vivo India is all set to launch the Vivo Y53 in the country for a price tag of Rs. 9,990 very soon. Last month, the company had launched the Vivo Y55s in India for Rs. 12,490. Take a look at the specifications and features of the mobile below.

The Vivo Y53 features 16GB of internal memory but it can be increased further up to 256GB externally by inserting a microSD card. The phone runs on FunTouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has features such as split screen for proper multitasking at real-time. The Y53 sports a 5.0-inch qHD IPS display, which has a resolution of 960 x 540 pixel and a pixel density of 220 PPI. The phone also has a unique eye protection mode, which basically ensures that the screen brightness is set at a comfortable level by reducing blue light. Thus, it will cause less strain on the eyes of the users.

Coming to the camera section, the Y53 rocks a 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and Ultra HD mode at the back along with a 5 megapixel secondary selfie camera on the front. The selfie camera has innovative features such as Palm Capture and Voice Capture. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. For gaming and graphics related processing, we get Adreno 308 GPU. There is 2GB RAM onboard for multitasking and processing needs. It is 7.6mm thick, weighs 137 grams and has a unibody curved design.

The Vivo Y53 is a Dual SIM (nano) phone with 4G LTE support but at this time we cannot say if there is VoLTE support or not. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G HSPA+. Normal features such as 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio are also present. It does not feature a fingerprint sensor and that is a big letdown for this phone. There is a 2500mAh battery (non-removable) to power the phone. The Vivo Y53 will be available in Crown Gold and Space Gray colors.
