Samsung India has launched yet another mid-ranger in the Indian smartphone market, that too exclusively on Flipkart. It is called the Samsung Galaxy On8. Lets find out its features, specifications and pricing below.
The Galaxy On8 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7580 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 128GB by inserting a microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and should get updated to Android 7.0 Nougat by early 2017. In the camera department, we get a 13 megapixel rear camera along with a 5 megapixel selfie camera. Both of them comes with a LED flash. It supports Dual SIM, packs in a 3300mAh battery under its hood along with FM Radio and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It has 4G LTE connectivity but does not support VoLTE (Voice over LTE). Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS and more. One of the best thing about the smartphone is that it rocks a metal unibody design which looks very premium. The Galaxy On8 from the house of Samsung comes in three different colors - Black, Gold and White. It is priced at Rs. 15,900 in India and is being sold exclusively on Flipkart. Currently, it is selling for just Rs. 14,900 on Flipkart because of the Big Billion Days shopping festival. Samsung is also offering no cost EMI and exchange along with a free 32GB microSD card during this period.
Last month, Samsung India had also launched the Galaxy J5 Prime and J7 Prime along with the Galaxy A9 Pro in the country.
