Panasonic Eluga Ray with 4000mAh battery launched in India on Flipkart for Rs. 7999

Panasonic India has recently launched a new smartphone in its ‘Ray series’ named Panasonic Eluga Ray, after launching the Eluga Ray X and Eluga Ray Max last month. The Eluga Ray also comes with Arbo, a smart AI assistant developed by Panasonic. According to the company, Arbo is able to understand the usage of the phone and hence makes it more intelligent based on the time and location. The Panasonic Eluga Ray runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and is being powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. For graphics prowess and multitasking, we get Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage but the user can expand it further up to 64GB by adding a microSD card. The Eluga Ray features a 5-inch IPS display, which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

In the connectivity department, it comes with 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG and GPS. It supports Dual SIM and we also get a fingerprint sensor, which is embedded on top of the home button. The phone is made up of metal, it weighs 169 grams and is 9.7mm thick. The Panasonic Eluga Ray boasts of a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture at the back. The rear camera can shoot Full HD videos as well. There is a 5 megapixel selfie camera with LED flash for clicking bright selfies in any lighting conditions. We also get a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM Radio.

The Eluga Ray packs in a 4000mAh battery (non-removable) under its hood, which should keep the phone running for about two days with moderate usage but it does not support fast charging.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray is priced at Rs. 7,999 in India and is exclusively available on Flipkart in Gold, Rose Gold and Space Grey colors.
