After launching Z17 mini last month, nubia India has announced a new mid-ranger in the Indian market. It is the successor of the N1, the nubia N2. The best feature of the phone remains the massive 5000mAh battery which was also present in the N1. The phone promises up to 3.2 days of battery life with daily normal usage. The N2 has downgraded in some departments and has received some upgrades in some in comparison to the N1, let’s find them out.
The nubia N2 boasts of a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass AMOLED display, which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and pixel density of 267 PPI. The phone is being powered by a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with Mali-T860 GPU. For multitasking and storage, we get 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. The user can expand the storage externally up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The nubia N2 is a Dual SIM (nano) phone but it comes with a hybrid slot. The phone runs on nubia UI 4.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
In the camera department, we get a 13 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX258 sensor, EIS, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. On the front, there is a 16 megapixel selfie shooter with 80-degree wide-angle Samsung 3P3ST lens and f/2.0 aperture. Both of them can shoot Full HD videos. The N2 boasts of a aerospace-grade aluminium body, that is 7.9mm thick and weighs 180 grams. There is a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button, which can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds. We also get a 3.5mm audio jack, DTS audio and AW8738 amplifier.
The nubia N2 includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS, 3G HSPA+, USB Type-C and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual Band). Under the hood of this phone, there is a 5000mAh battery (non-removable) with support for fast charging. According to nubia, it will give up to 12 hours of web browsing, 60 hours of talk time or 41.5 hours of gaming on a single charge.
