Micromax Evok Dual Note is the latest budget dual camera phone in the Indian market. It is the latest entrant in the ‘Evok series’, that also runs on Android Nougat OS out of the box. The phone is a Flipkart exclusive and will go on sale from August 22. Check out its specifications, features and pricing below.
The Micromax Evok Dual Note features a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display, that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and pixel density of 401 PPI. Out of the box, the phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is being powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core 64-bit processor along with Mali-T860 GPU. We get options of both 3GB and 4GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage and the user can expand it further up to 64GB by adding a microSD card.
The Evok Dual Note rocks a dual rear camera setup - a 13 megapixel primary lens with Sony IMX258 sensor and a 5 megapixel secondary lens with dual-tone LED flash. As usual, the second lens will help in capturing depth information for bokeh effect (portrait shots). We also get a 5 megapixel selfie camera on the front with soft LED flash. There is a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM Radio and the body is made up of metal. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button, which can unlock the phone very quickly.
In the connectivity department, the Evok Dual Note includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual Band), USB Type-C and GPS. It supports Dual SIM (nano) but comes with a hybrid slot. It packs in a 3000mAh battery (non-removable) under its hood but sadly does not support fast charging.
The Micromax Evok Dual Note is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM while the 4GB RAM model costs Rs. 11,499 in India. It will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart from August 22, 2023 in Gold and Prussian Blue (4GB RAM variant only).
