Micromax Canvas 5 Lite exclusively launched on Snapdeal with VoLTE support

Micromax Informatics has launched a lighter version (literally) of their Canvas 5 in India known as the Micromax Canvas 5 Lite (Q462). The phone looks quite premium that has a metal frame wrapped around its body along with a leather-like back cover. It has been exclusively launched on Snapdeal and is now selling for Rs. 6,499.

The Canvas 5 Lite sports a 5-inch HD IPS display which gets powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P chipset clocked at 1.0 GHz along with Mali-T720 GPU for graphical experience. For smooth multitasking, it packs in 2GB of RAM and for storage, it has 16GB of internal memory but it cannot be expanded further like most other Micromax smartphones since it does not come with a microSD card slot. It is a Dual SIM phone that runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. For network and connectivity options, we get 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, 2G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Under the hood, there is a 2000mAh battery, however it does not support fast charging. It has the usual 3.5 mm headphone jack and FM Radio as well. For photography, you are getting a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing selfie camera. Both of them come with OmniVision sensors. Check out all the specifications below.
