Lenovo launches Moto M with FHD display, 4GB RAM, 4G VoLTE

Last week, Lenovo had officially unveiled the Moto M at an event in China. It is the latest mid-ranger from the company in their new ‘M series’ smartphones. Lets find about its features, specifications and pricing below.

The Motorola Moto M has an all-metal unibody design, which features a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. In terms of processor, GPU, RAM and ROM, it boasts of a MediaTek Helio P15 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.2 GHz, Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM (further expandable up to 128GB). In the camera department, we are getting a 16 megapixel primary camera at the back along with a 8 megapixel secondary selfie camera at the front. It is a Hybrid Dual SIM phone that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. Like most other Moto smartphones, it also has water-repellent nano-coating for limited water resistance. There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back and like most Lenovo smartphones, it boasts of Dolby Atmos as well. In the connectivity and networking department, it supports 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C. Under the hood, there is a 3050mAh battery with support for Turbo Charging.

The Lenovo Moto M comes in Gold and Silver colors. It has been priced at 1999 Yuan ($292 / Rs. 19,821 approx.) in China. It is now available in the country via the Lenovo website, Tmall, jd.com and other online retail stores. Lenovo has not revealed any details about its global roll out yet. If it ever gets released in India, the phone might make it to our best smartphones under 20000 category.
