This is the month of affordable budget Android Nougat smartphones. We have already seen the launch of Intex Aqua A4, Intex Aqua Crystal+ and Sansui Horizon 2 this month. Now, Karbonn has also launched a budget smartphone running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box named Aura Power 4G Plus. The company had launched the Karbonn Aura 4G earlier this month but it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. So lets take a look at the features and specifications of the phone below.
The Karbonn Aura Power 4G Plus features a 5.0-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), that is being powered by a quad-core processor (most probably MediaTek) clocked at 1.25GHz. For multitasking and storage, we get 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can also be extended up to 32GB by adding a microSD card. The Aura Power 4G Plus runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It is a Dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. Other connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS.
In the camera department, we get a 5 megapixel primary camera with dual LED flash at the back along with another 5 megapixel front-facing selfie camera with LED flash at the front. Under the hood, there is a big 4000mAh battery and it comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio as well. The battery promises a talk time of up to 16 hours and standby time of 400 hours, however it does not support fast charging.
The Karbonn Aura Power 4G Plus is priced at Rs. 5,790 in India and will be available in Grey and Champagne colors along with a free protective cover.
