iVOOMi Me5, a smartphone under 5000, has been officially announced in India. This smartphone from the Chinese phone maker is 4G VoLTE enabled and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It is a Flipkart exclusive and is available in Carbon Black and Champagne Gold colors. Take a look at the features and specifications of this budget phone below.
The iVOOMi Me5 rocks a 5.0-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display, which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD). The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is being powered by a 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC9832 quad-core processor along with Mali-400 GPU. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage but users can expand it further up to 128GB by adding a microSD card.
In the connectivity department, it includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. It supports Dual SIM, which weighs 130 grams and is 9mm thick. The iVOOMi Me5 boasts of a 8 megapixel primary camera with LED flash at the back. The rear camera can shoot Full HD videos as well. There is a 5 megapixel selfie camera for clicking selfies and making video calls. We also get a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM Radio.
The iVOOMi Me5 packs in a big 3000mAh battery (non-removable) under its hood but it does not support fast charging. However, it is one of the best batteries in its category and should give a battery life of about one and half days with moderate usage.
The iVOOMi Me5 is priced at Rs. 4,499 in India and is exclusively available on Flipkart.
