Along with the Me5, Chinese smartphone maker iVOOMi had also launched the Me4 last week. It is a smartphone under 4000, which runs on Android Nougat OS out of the box. It is very heartening to see these affordable low-end budget smartphones getting the latest Android OS while other smartphone makers still shipping their best phones with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The iVOOMi Me4 features a 4.55-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) and pixel density of 218 PPI. It is being powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz along with Mali-T720 GPU. For multitasking and storage, we get 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can also be extended up to 64GB by adding a microSD card.
The Me4 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It is a Dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. Other connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. The phone is 10.19mm thick, weighs 113 grams, comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
In the camera department, there is a 5 megapixel primary camera with LED flash at the back. On the front, we get another 5 megapixel selfie camera. Under the hood, there is a 2000mAh battery and it should give up to one day of battery life with normal use cases.
