Intex Technologies has launched a new budget smartphone named ELYT e7 in India today. It is the first device in their new “ELYT series”, that runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and supports 4G VoLTE. Last month, the company had launched the Intex Aqua Crystal+ for Rs. 6,799. Take a look at the specifications, features and pricing of the phone below.
The Intex ELYT e7 features a 5.2-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display, which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD). The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is being powered by a 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737V quad-core processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. There is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage but the user can expand it further up to 128GB by adding a microSD card.
In the connectivity department, the ELYT e7 includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG and GPS. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano), which weighs 156 grams and is 7.4mm thick. The Intex ELYT e7 boasts of a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture at the back. The rear camera can shoot Full HD videos as well. There is a 5 megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture for clicking selfies and making video calls. We also get a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM Radio and a fingerprint sensor located at the back.
The ELYT e7 packs in a 4020mAh battery (non-removable) under its hood, which promises up to 15 days of standby time and talk time of up to 16 hours, but it does not support fast charging.
The Intex ELYT e7 is priced at Rs. 7,999 and is exclusively available on Amazon India in Golden color. We will include it in our best smartphones under 8000 and other categories very soon.
