Coolpad Cool S1 launched back in China last month is all set to enter the Indian smartphone market very soon. It is the third smartphone from ‘Cool’, which has been made in collaboration with LeEco and Coolpad. The Cool S1 is very similar to the LeEco Le Pro 3, which is one of the best 6GB RAM smartphones globally. Check out its features and specifications below.
The Coolpad Cool S1 rocks a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS in-cell display, that comes with 450 nits of brightness and a pixel density of 401 PPI. It is powered by a 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU. In case of RAM and internal storage, It comes in three different combinations – 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. Out of the box, it runs on EUI 5.8 out based on Android Marshmallow OS.
In the camera department, there is a 16 megapixel rear primary camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF along with a 8 megapixel selfie shooter. It is a Dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. It has a metal unibody design and comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The Coolpad Cool S1 comes in Gold and Black color variants. It is priced at 2499 Yuan ($362 / Rs. 24,640 approx.) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 2699 Yuan ($391 / Rs. 26,615 approx.) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 3199 Yuan ($464 / Rs. 31,546 approx.) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM in China. So we can expect it to start below Rs. 25,000 in India. Recently, Coolpad Cool 1 was launched in India for Rs. 13,999.
